Do you ever have those moments when something catches your eye and you simply can’t pull yourself away? You were taught staring is rude, but somehow this time it seems “different”. Time after time, fashion gives me those moments. For better or for worse all practicality is thrown out the window to create some sort of artful statement. It’s what I love about it to be honest. Coachella is a music festival, this is true, but perhaps what it has become even more notorious for, is being the platform chalk full of these stare-worthy fashion moments I’m talking about.
Every now and again, I need a break don’t you? In this post, I thought I’d share some fashion eye candy for your viewing pleasure. These are photos of some of the coolest, craziest, and most stare-worthy Coachella outfits I’ve found floating around on the internet. Which would you wear?
Coachella Fashion At Its Finest

“Peace be with you.” This ensemble looks cool and comfortable for a day in the desert. Photo: Getty Images

“Come hither.” A denim jacket is a Coachella must and this statement piece is no exception. Photo: Matt Cowan

“Bound by no-one.” I mean, is it easy to move in that? Photo: Mylan Torres

“Flapper pants.” This is one spin on the fringe trend I haven’t seen before. Photo: Tyler Joe

“Desert mermaid.” A sequined romper plus lots of sunshine create quite a shimmer. Photo: Mylan Torres

“Grunge glamazon.” Layering taken to a whole new level here. Photo: Getty/Araya Diaz

“Captain Cool.” Love the monochromatic army green look. The hat tops it off…literally. Photo: Tyler Joe

“Furr-ocious.” Not sure how Katy Perry does fur in the desert heat, but if anyone can, it’s her. Photo: Vogue
Coachella continues this weekend with a jam packed lineup of incredible artists and events. I can only imagine what fashion will be in store for the second go-around. For more information on the festival happenings click here.
